My FANTASTIC Surprise!!!

So, I discovered that EVERYONE has been lying to me for weeks....EVERYONE was in on it.....but the best part is that EVERYONE truly surprised me....and I could not have asked for a better weekend!!! To everyone that was a part of it....thank you and I love you all very much.....

New Kitchen

Ryan and I have been working hard on remodeling our kitchen....it has taken us nearly 3 weeks...but we refinished the cabinets, and put in new counter-tops and new fixtures....new hardware.....and new stove...new microwave...new sink...and that is all I can remember....we are both extremely tired of painting!!!

Ryan is "in love"

I think Adrienne said it best....Ryan has a new girlfriend.....and he is in love....I am not jealous....driving "old blue" for 3 years while I have been in school....he has earned it!!

First Day of School

I know that the kids were ready to go back to school, and I know I was. It was still hard to put Noah on the middle school bus, I can't believe that he is old enough to go to middle school, when did that happen?

Break....

Well yesterday began my official break from school! I had planned on taking class all three summer session, but after some persuasion from Ryan, he convinced me that I needed a break from school. This is the third consecutive summer that I have been enrolled full time in school. I also felt like my classes have effected the kids summer as well. I found out today that the class I was scheduled to begin today, has an opening for the fall. So I won't miss a beat. I will just take that chemistry class in the fall.
Anyway, we haven't done much on this break, but the kids and I hope to finish the summer off with a bang, by going to the pool, and just having a good time.
Looking forward to not having to get up early until the kids start back to school. As for me, class for fall start back up August 30th.
